THE HURRICANE TRACKER
First Baptist School was established as a mission of First Baptist Church of Charleston in 1949.
As well as providing academic excellence with a Christian perspective, the school boast a successful athletic program competing
in the South Carolina Indpendent School Association's Region 1-AA. The program gives students to participate in 11 different
sports on Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Middle School levels for boys and girls

Junior,
Andrew Brenner, averaged 10.3 points per game, shot 40% from beyond the 3-point line and was recently honored for his accomplishments
on the hardwood this season. Along with being named HSSR AA State Player
of the Year, he was also 2nd Team All-Conference, Region 1-AA All-Tournament, SCISA State Playoff All-Tournament, and selected
to play in the North/South All-Star Game
